How to have cheap air conditioned fun!

Mom came up to play this week since it was my last week off :( we went to Grapevine Mills to do a little shopping and get out of the heat.

We rode the carousel

Went to the Thomas the Train store

Did some browsing at Rainforest Cafe
But the highlight of the day was going to a toy store. There were the battery run animals that walk and talk and do tricks. Travis loved them - especially the trick puppy. He had everyone in the store smiling and even stopped a few passerbys. There were some service men and women on leave and they came in to see him since he was having so much fun. He of course wanted them all to hold him. One of the men was on his way home to Guam to see his 1 month old son for the first time so he got a taste of what's to come. There is something about hearing a baby laugh that makes you have to smile :)
